Doctor of Theology – he was awarded this degree in 2002 for his thesis The Deanery of Wałcz in the Years 1821–1920 at the Catholic University of Lublin in Lublin. Since 2004, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Theology, University of Szczecin (since 2019 at the Institute of Theological Sciences, University of Szczecin); since 2003, Director of the Archives of the Diocese of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg and Director of the Library of the Higher Theological Seminary in Koszalin; since 2013, editor-in-chief of the “Rocznik Skrzatuski”; since 2014, deputy editor-in-chief of “Studia Koszalińsko-Kołobrzeskie” and editor-in-chief of the “Rocznik Diecezji Koszalińsko-Kołobrzeskiej”; since 2016, editor-in-chief of “Koszalińsko-Kołobrzeskie Diocesan News”; from 2012 to 2020, deputy head of the Postgraduate Studies in Theology in Koszalin, and since 2020, head of the Postgraduate Studies in Theology in Koszalin. Member of the Association of Church Archivists, the Fides Association, the West Pomeranian Library Association, and the Association of Polish Archivists.
