The Skrzatusz Annals

„The Skrzatusz Annals” (ISSN-print: 2300-8296, ISSN-online: 2956-977X, DOI: 10.69553/rs) is an initiative taken in the Skrzatusz Year on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the coronation of the Skrzatusz Piety. The Collegiate Chapter of Piła took on the honorary patronage of the publisher. It has commited in its statutes to spread the cult of the Lady of Skrzatusz and the sanctuary. The periodical is edited by the Library of the Seminary in Koszalin and it has been published from 2013 as a yearbook. Fr. dr. Tadeusz Ceynowa is the editor-in-chef.
   The published articles are mainly related to both mariological issues and the history referring to the Marian cult and the Sanctuary of Skrzatusz. In Miscellanea’s work there are treatises and sources of that history. In addition, review and report sections are added which are concerned with publication dealing with the region and a calendar of Skrzatusz events

   The yearbook is on the list of point journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (the point journals listing 2024, list. 32322) – 20 points. It is available in hard or soft copy, yet the hard one is the original. The print version of the journal is held at the National Library in Warsaw (National Library catalog), and the electronic version is indexed in international databases:

    The journal „The Skrzatusz Annals” is available in both hard copy and electronic form, with the electronic version being the primary one. It is available in both hard and soft copy, yet the hard one is the original. The aim of the journal is to promote the cult of the Our Lady of Sorrow and Her sanctuary in Skrzatusz in the diocese and throughout Poland.
    This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
   Full versions of articles published in the journal are available at rocznikskrzatuski.pl without a grace period or without any technological barriers. The journal belongs to the Open Access system and uses the CC-BY-SA licence. The author grants the publisher a non-exclusive licence to use the work.

Sources of income, marketing and advertising
The publication activities of the academic journal “The Skrzatusz Annals” are funded by sponsors and donors. No publication fees are charged. Authors of articles published in the journal receive one complimentary printed copy of the issue in which their article appears. All articles published in the academic journal “The Skrzatusz Annals” are available free of charge and without any technological barriers in an online version on the journal’s website, administered by the editorial board of “The Skrzatusz Annals”. The academic journal “The Skrzatusz Annals” does not use any advertising media, and all forms of direct marketing are appropriately targeted, discreet and primarily aimed at disseminating the academic content published in the journal.

Open Access Policy
“The Skrzatusz Annals” is an open-access journal. This means that all content contained within it is available free of charge to the user or their institution. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose without prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
   The articles are published under the CC-BY-SA license, and the editorial board of the journal does not charge for the publication of the publication (APC). Authors retain full copyright to their articles. An agreement is signed between the author and the purchaser for a free licence to the works under a CC BY-SA sub-licence. Authors grant a non-exclusive and free licence to use the work, without territorial or time restrictions. The licence agreement includes the author's permission to send the metadata of the scientific text and the text itself to databases indexing the journal. Authors do not incur any fees related to the publishing process. Texts published in “The Skrzatusz Annals” are also made available under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence (CC BY-SA) on the same terms.
   The journal “The Skrzatusz Annals” is licensed under a Creative Commons CC-BY-SA licence. This means that you may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without first obtaining the publisher’s or author’s permission, subject to the following conditions:

   The journal includes Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) and unique researcher identifiers (ORCID – Open Researcher and Contributor ID) for the authors of the scientific articles published in the journal. The editorial board of the journal “The Skrzatusz Annals” supports and implements Open Access principles, and in particular the ideas of Open Science in publishing, guaranteeing an open model of publishing and content distribution, as well as a fully open publishing policy.
